LaCigale - more than a web site or a dog and pony show! We are two small family sewing shops: one in Provençe, southern France, where we make our products; the other in Mt. Gretna, PA. were we do alterations and custom work. The sewing shop in Mt. Gretna is open to the public, see sewing shop summer hours below . When you are in central Pennsylvania visiting The Amish Country, please stop by, visit our charming village, Mt. From Provençe to you, by La Cigale.
All of our products are made in Provence, southern France. The tissue (fabric) is European, from weave mills or print shops in Belgium, France, Italy, and Spain. Our product line consists of tablecloths, napkins, placemats and dish towels. When there is time we also make wine sacs, assorted sacs and bread baskets. The fabrics we use are Acrylic-Coated 100% cotton, which is our specialty, 100% cotton, and Jacquard with Dupont Teflon® fabric protector. We do not offer polyester on this site or at our shop. We can now alter the 71in round tablecloth, either the acrylic-coated coton or the plain coton. You can now have a round Motif in Place tablecloth any size you wish, 71in or smaller. We can make it a 60in round, a 56in round or any size you wish. If you are looking for a small round tablecloth, call us at 717-964-2248; we would be delighted to make one just for you.
